Description

A delightful dish featuring golden-brown roasted cauliflower coated in a sticky honey garlic glaze, bursting with flavor and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil on the baking sheet and spread them out in a single layer.
  3. Roast the cauliflower for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. While the cauliflower is roasting, combine the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan. Heat over medium, stirring constantly until it simmers and thickens slightly (about 3 to 5 minutes).
  5. Once the cauliflower is roasted, transfer it to a large mixing bowl. Pour the warm honey garlic sauce over the florets and toss gently to coat.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

You can prepare the cauliflower and sauce ahead of time, storing them separately in the fridge. For a vegan option, substitute honey with agave syrup.
