Description

A comforting and flavorful BBQ Chicken Pizza, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 Pizza Dough
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken Breast, shredded
  • 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1 Red Onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to ¼-inch thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough onto a greased pizza stone or baking sheet.
  4. Brush the edges of the dough with olive oil.
  5. Prepare the chicken by tossing it with 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce.
  6. Spread the remaining BBQ sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  7. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  8. Distribute the BBQ chicken pieces and onion slices evenly over the cheese.
  9. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.

Notes

For a smoky twist, try using smoked mozzarella cheese. Adjust the BBQ sauce level to match your heat preference.
