A delicious breakfast pizza with a crispy hash brown crust, filled with eggs, cheese, and fresh veggies.

- 4 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed and squeezed dry
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage or bacon (optional)
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Lightly grease a 12-inch ovenproof skillet or pizza pan.
- Combine the thawed and dried hash browns, melted butter, salt, and ground black pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Press the hash brown mixture evenly into the prepared pan, forming a cohesive crust.
- Bake the crust for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the baked crust from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over it.
- Add the cooked sausage or bacon if using, along with the diced bell peppers and chopped green onions.
- Create four shallow depressions in the toppings to hold the eggs.
- Crack one egg into each well and sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 to 12 minutes until the egg whites are set.
- Allow to cool for 3 minutes before slicing and serving warm.
Notes
Hash browns can be prepared a day in advance for quick assembly. Consider using an air fryer for a crispier crust.
