Description

Deliciously crispy bites filled with creamy mozzarella, spicy buffalo chicken, and savory bacon, perfect for game day or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (cut into cubes)
  • 6 slices Cooked Bacon (crumbled)
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 large Eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular)
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, buffalo sauce, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Fold in cubed mozzarella into the chicken mixture.
  3. Take a handful of the mixture, place a cube of mozzarella in the center, and form a complete ball. Repeat.
  4. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Roll the filled ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat oil in a frying pan to 350°F. Fry bombs in batches for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

For a stronger buffalo flavor, marinate the ground chicken in buffalo sauce for an hour before cooking. Ensure oil is at the right temperature to avoid greasy bombs.
