- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
- 2 cups of diced apples
- 1/2 cup of caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Flour (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crusts on a floured surface and cut them into circles.
- In a bowl, mix the diced apples, caramel sauce, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each pie crust circle.
- Fold the crust over the filling and seal the edges by crimping with a fork.
- Brush the tops with egg wash.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg to the apple mixture.
- Serve with additional caramel sauce for dipping.
- These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
