Description

A delightful combination of crispy cookie exterior and gooey caramel cheesecake center, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Gradually mix in the brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Add the dry mixture to the cream cheese mixture gradually.
  7. Fold in the caramel sauce and chocolate chips if using.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Dough can be prepared in advance and refrigerated. To revive frozen cookies, microwave for 10-15 seconds or bake at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.
