- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually mix in the brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Add the dry mixture to the cream cheese mixture gradually.
- Fold in the caramel sauce and chocolate chips if using.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Dough can be prepared in advance and refrigerated. To revive frozen cookies, microwave for 10-15 seconds or bake at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.
