Description

Delightful crispy phyllo rolls filled with a creamy feta and herb mixture, drizzled with sweet chili sauce.


Ingredients

  • 12 sheets of phyllo dough
  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (like dill or parsley)
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or melted butter for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled feta, cream cheese, herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lay one sheet of phyllo on a clean surface and brush it lightly with olive oil.
  4. Layer another sheet of phyllo on top and brush again. Repeat with a total of four sheets.
  5. Cut the phyllo stack into strips about 2-3 inches wide.
  6. At one end of each strip, place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture and roll tightly.
  7. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with olive oil.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Mix the sweet chili sauce and honey in a small bowl.
  10. Drizzle the sweet chili honey over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

Keep phyllo dough covered with a damp towel while working to prevent drying out. Customize with different herbs or cheese as desired.
