Description
Juicy chicken breasts coated in a crispy Parmesan crust, served with a rich, garlicky sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat with the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the coated chicken and cook for about 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Prepare the garlic sauce by sautéing minced garlic in a small saucepan with a bit of olive oil over low heat until fragrant.
- Serve the crispy chicken drizzled with the garlic sauce and garnish with parsley.
Notes
You can prepare the chicken and coat it ahead of time. Store in the fridge for up to 24 hours before cooking.
