Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round baking pan.
- Combine the butter, granulated sugar, and dark brown sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the butter mixture until just mixed.
- Fold in the chopped apples and walnuts gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
