Description

Garlic Steak with Mixed Vegetables is a delicious and savory dish that combines tender steak with a medley of colorful vegetables, all infused with the rich flavor of garlic.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then add it to the skillet.
  3. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and mixed vegetables.
  6. Sauté the vegetables until they are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. Add soy sauce and stir to combine.
  8. Slice the steak and serve it on a plate with the sautéed vegetables.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the vegetables.
  • Feel free to substitute the mixed vegetables with your favorites.
  • Letting the steak rest helps retain its juices.
