Description

Delicious high-protein pepperoni pizza rolls that combine the classic taste of pizza with a satisfying crunch, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup of pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup of pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into squares, about 4×4 inches each.
  4. Place a few slices of pepperoni and a tablespoon of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the dough over to make a pocket, pressing the edges tightly to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning if desired.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the rolls a day in advance and store in the refrigerator. You can also freeze them raw and bake from frozen.
