- 1 cup of pizza dough
- 1/2 cup of pepperoni slices
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into squares, about 4×4 inches each.
- Place a few slices of pepperoni and a tablespoon of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
- Fold the dough over to make a pocket, pressing the edges tightly to seal.
- Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning if desired.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prepare the rolls a day in advance and store in the refrigerator. You can also freeze them raw and bake from frozen.
