Description

A delightful masterpiece combining juicy beef patties, crispy bacon, and caramelized onions, reminiscent of cozy Irish pub culture.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 burger buns (brioche or rustic)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for cooking
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. Caramelize the onions in the same skillet until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  3. Form the ground beef into four equal patties, making indents in the center. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the patties in the skillet or grill for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
  5. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Toast the burger buns in a separate pan with melted butter until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the burgers: start with the bun, then add the beef patty, crispy bacon, and caramelized onions. Add any optional toppings.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy warm with your favorite side dishes.

Notes
