- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or processed cheese)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk and egg.
- Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the grated cheese.
- Shape the dough into small rolls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
