Description

A delicious and hearty dish featuring creamy jalapeno cheddar grits topped with succulent shrimp, savory sausage, and flaky salmon.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup grits
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapenos, diced
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound sausage, sliced
  • 1 pound salmon, cut into fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add grits. Cook according to package instructions until creamy.
  2. Stir in cheddar cheese and diced jalapenos into the grits until well combined.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque.
  5. In another skillet, cook salmon fillets until flaky and cooked through.
  6. Serve the jalapeno cheddar grits topped with the shrimp, sausage, and salmon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or fewer jalapenos.
  • For a creamier texture, add more cheese to the grits.
