Description

A delightful twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring melty cheddar and fresh blueberries for a sweet and savory experience.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (white, whole grain, or sourdough)
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer slices of cheddar cheese on the bread.
  5. Sprinkle blueberries evenly over the cheese.
  6. Add another layer of cheese on top.
  7. Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
  8. Cook until the bread is golden brown, then carefully flip to cook the other side until the cheese melts.
  9. If desired, drizzle with honey before serving.

Notes
