Description

A comforting and savory dish of ground beef, tender broccoli, and melted cheese, perfect for a keto diet.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it into crumbles, and sauté for 6–8 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Push the beef to one side, add diced onion and minced garlic, and cook for about 3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  3. Fold in broccoli florets and sauté for about a minute to absorb beef juices.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, and stir thoroughly.
  5. Cover with a lid and cook for 5–7 minutes until broccoli is tender but crisp.
  6. Lower heat, add heavy cream, and stir to deglaze the skillet.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the mixture, cover, and cook for 2–3 minutes until melted.
  8. If using, drizzle Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle red pepper flakes over the melted cheese, give a final stir, and serve hot.

Notes

Customize with other veggies or proteins and store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
