- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it into crumbles, and sauté for 6–8 minutes until golden brown.
- Push the beef to one side, add diced onion and minced garlic, and cook for about 3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Fold in broccoli florets and sauté for about a minute to absorb beef juices.
- Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, and stir thoroughly.
- Cover with a lid and cook for 5–7 minutes until broccoli is tender but crisp.
- Lower heat, add heavy cream, and stir to deglaze the skillet.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the mixture, cover, and cook for 2–3 minutes until melted.
- If using, drizzle Worcestershire sauce and sprinkle red pepper flakes over the melted cheese, give a final stir, and serve hot.
Notes
Customize with other veggies or proteins and store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
