Description

Delicious Korean BBQ meatballs served with a zesty spicy mayo dip, offering a perfect blend of flavor and texture.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (or pork)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp gochujang
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the spicy mayo dip:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tsp lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ingredients in a large bowl and mix until evenly combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 1.5-inch balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  5. Make the spicy mayo dip by whisking together mayo, gochujang, and lime juice.
  6. Serve warm with the spicy mayo dip.

Notes

You can prepare the meatball mixture a day in advance. Store in the fridge and simply shape and bake when ready to serve.
