Description

A tropical twist on the classic Italian dessert, this Mango and Passionfruit Tiramisu, also known as Mangomisu, combines the rich flavors of mango and passionfruit with creamy mascarpone and coffee-soaked ladyfingers.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe mangoes, pureed
  • 1 cup passionfruit pulp
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the mango puree and passionfruit pulp.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the cooled coffee, then layer them in a serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Layer half of the mango and passionfruit mixture on top of the mascarpone layer.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and mango-passionfruit mixture.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
  8. Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, ensure the coffee is decaffeinated.
  • Adjust the sweetness according to your taste preference.
  • Can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
