Description

A delectable panini featuring creamy mozzarella and aromatic basil pesto, wrapped in crusty bread for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
  • Basil Pesto
  • Ciabatta or Focaccia Bread
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the press or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Slice the bread into even pieces.
  3. Spread basil pesto on one side of each slice.
  4. Layer thick slices of mozzarella on one pesto side and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Assemble the sandwich with the other slice on top, pesto side down.
  6. Brush the outside of the sandwich with olive oil.
  7. Grill in the heated press or skillet for 3-5 minutes until crispy and the cheese melts.
  8. Remove, slice, and serve warm.

Notes
