A delectable panini featuring creamy mozzarella and aromatic basil pesto, wrapped in crusty bread for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
- Basil Pesto
- Ciabatta or Focaccia Bread
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the press or skillet over medium heat.
- Slice the bread into even pieces.
- Spread basil pesto on one side of each slice.
- Layer thick slices of mozzarella on one pesto side and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the sandwich with the other slice on top, pesto side down.
- Brush the outside of the sandwich with olive oil.
- Grill in the heated press or skillet for 3-5 minutes until crispy and the cheese melts.
- Remove, slice, and serve warm.
