Description

Delightfully fluffy muffins swirled with Nutella and bursting with ripe banana flavor, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners for easy cleaning and perfect muffins.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted butter into the mashed bananas and mix well until combined.
  4. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture. Whisk until smooth.
  5. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the banana mixture, stirring gently.
  7. Divide half of the batter into the muffin cups.
  8. Spoon Nutella into the center of each muffin.
  9. Top with the remaining batter, covering the Nutella.
  10. Swirl the Nutella into the batter slightly with a toothpick.
  11. Bake for 18-20 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Let the muffins cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute the egg with a flax egg. Store muffins in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
