Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a medium mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture.
- Add chopped nuts and chocolate chips (if using) and mix gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
