Description

A comforting and flavorful one-pot pasta dish featuring juicy steak, zesty tomatoes, and fresh vegetables, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne, fusilli, or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb steak, sliced (beef sirloin or flank steak)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Brown the steak, cooking until a deep golden-brown crust forms.
  3. Sauté the chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add diced tomatoes and beef broth and let simmer.
  5. Mix in the pasta and bring to a rolling boil.
  6. Simmer until pasta is al dente, about 10-12 minutes.
  7. Return the steak, stir to combine, and heat through.
  8. Season with salt and pepper and serve hot.

Notes

Try swapping the steak for chicken or a plant-based protein. Prep vegetables in advance for quicker cooking.
