Description

A delicious copycat recipe for Outback Steakhouse’s famous Alice Springs Chicken, featuring tender chicken breasts topped with honey mustard, bacon, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey mustard dressing
  • 8 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the chicken breasts with the mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  4. Drizzle honey mustard dressing over each chicken breast.
  5. Top each breast with two slices of bacon.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
