- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (175g)
- ½ cup chopped peanuts (optional)
- Flaky sea salt (optional, for sprinkling)
- Extra chocolate chips (for topping)
- Peanut butter chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, adding the vanilla extract until the mixture is glossy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Stir the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped peanuts gently.
- Use a cookie scoop to portion the dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Top with additional chocolate chips and flaky sea salt if desired.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, rotating sheets halfway through.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
