Description

A delightful pecan pie dump cake that combines crunchy pecans, a gooey filling, and a golden crust, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed pecans
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
  3. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Spread crushed pecans evenly over the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  5. Pour the wet mixture evenly over the pecans.
  6. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top without mixing.
  7. Drizzle remaining melted butter over the cake mix.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
