Description

A tantalizing blend of tender pork and spicy jalapeños, coated in a sticky, sweet glaze that awakes your taste buds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork pieces with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Add diced jalapeños and minced garlic; cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and lime juice, then pour over the pork.
  5. Reduce heat and let simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the marinade a night before for intensified flavors. Can substitute chicken or tofu for a different protein.
