Description

A cozy and flavorful bowl of ramen featuring tender chicken in a creamy broth, complemented by aromatic spices and fresh garnishes.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 packs of ramen noodles
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the pot and caramelize until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, and chili paste. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is tender.
  5. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  7. In a separate pot, prepare ramen noodles according to package instructions.
  8. Assemble bowls by placing noodles at the bottom, ladling the broth and shredded chicken over the top.
  9. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.

Notes

Customize the spice level and add vegetables like bok choy or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
