Description

Delight in tender steak served over pasta in a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, perfect for impressing loved ones or indulging yourself.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless ribeye or sirloin steaks (6 oz each)
  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: ½ cup beef broth
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Sear the Steaks: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Sear for 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from heat, cover with foil, and let rest.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, reduce heat, add butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Optionally add beef broth and simmer.
  4. Make the Sauce: Pour in heavy cream, simmer gently. Whisk in Parmesan until the sauce thickens.
  5. Combine with Pasta: Toss cooked pasta and reserved water into the sauce. Slice rested steak and fold into pasta before serving.
