- 2 cups grated cassava
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup grated coconut
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Prepare a steamer and bring water to a boil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine grated cassava, coconut milk, sugar, grated coconut, salt, vanilla extract, and baking powder.
- Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased cake pan.
- Place the cake pan in the steamer and cover.
- Steam for about 45-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove from the steamer and let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Ensure cassava is well grated for a smoother texture.
- Adjust sugar according to your taste preference.
- Serve with additional grated coconut on top for garnish.
