Description

Indulge in the delightful combination of warm cinnamon rolls and creamy strawberry cheesecake filling, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of cinnamon roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the cinnamon roll dough package instructions.
  2. Blend the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Dust countertop with flour and roll out the cinnamon roll dough into a rectangle.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle sliced strawberries decoratively over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log, tucking the filling inside as you go.
  7. Slice the roll into even pieces, about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish with space in between.
  9. Brush the tops with a beaten egg or milk if desired.
  10. Bake according to package instructions or until golden brown.
  11. Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.

Notes

For a lighter filling, substitute cream cheese with Neufchâtel cheese. You can also use other fruit fillings such as raspberries or blueberries.
