Description

A luscious breakfast featuring brioche stuffed with a creamy cheesecake filling and fresh strawberries, perfect for a cozy brunch.


Ingredients

  • 4 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Fresh Strawberries
  • 8 slices Brioche or Texas Toast
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Butter for Frying
  • Toppings: Maple syrup, powdered sugar, extra strawberries, and whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Blend the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Spread the cheesecake mixture over 4 slices of bread, press down sliced strawberries, and top with another slice of bread to make a sandwich.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, and additional vanilla extract in a shallow bowl.
  4. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  6. Cook each sandwich for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with toppings of your choice.

Notes

For a make-ahead option, prepare the filling and assemble the sandwiches in advance. Store in the fridge until ready to fry.
