- 2 to 3 tablespoons warm water
- 4 burger buns, toasted
- 1 cup shredded carrot
- 1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, green onions, cilantro, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide the turkey mixture into four portions and shape into patties, ensuring a slight indentation in the center.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
- Cook the patties for 5 to 6 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and sriracha. Gradually mix in warm water until smooth.
- Spread peanut sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a turkey patty on top, drizzle with additional sauce, and top with shredded carrot, cucumber, cilantro, and red onion. Secure with the other half of the bun.
- Serve immediately with extra peanut sauce on the side.
