Description

A hearty bowl of Yaki Udon, featuring thick, chewy noodles tossed in a rich soy and sesame sauce with crisp vegetables for a delightful and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 200g Udon Noodles
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 Cup Mixed Vegetables (Bell Peppers, Carrots, Broccoli)
  • 2 Green Onions, Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic, Minced
  • Sesame Seeds for Garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pot of boiling water, cook the udon noodles according to the package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat sesame oil over medium heat until fragrant.
  3. Add the minced ginger and garlic and sauté until just beginning to brown.
  4. Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  5. Add the cooked udon noodles to the pan along with soy sauce and oyster sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Fold in the chopped green onions and stir one last time.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
