Description

A delightful pie filled with tender apples and tart cranberries, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups of fresh cranberries
  • 4 cups of sliced apples
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the cranberries and apples in a large bowl.
  3. Fill your pie crust with the fruit mixture.
  4. Butter the top of the fruit mixture with small pieces of butter.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until apples are tender and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
