Description

A delightful baked salmon dish topped with creamy Boursin cheese, garlic, and lemon, delivering a perfect balance of richness and freshness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (56 ounces each)
  • 1 round of Boursin cheese (5.2 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the baking dish by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Mix the Boursin cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and half of the olive oil in a medium bowl until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pat the salmon fillets dry and drizzle with the remaining olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Arrange the salmon skin-side down in the baking dish and spread the creamy cheese mixture evenly over each fillet.
  6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, checking for doneness with a meat thermometer (145°F).

Notes

For a make-ahead option, prepare the cheese mixture a day in advance. Consider adding spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
