Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blend the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Whisk together the eggs and milk until airy and fluffy.
- Cut the bread into thick slices, about 1-inch wide.
- Layer half of the bread slices in a greased baking dish.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the first layer of bread.
- Top with remaining bread slices.
- Pour the egg mixture over the entire bread layers, soaking for 15-20 minutes.
- Spread the cherry pie filling over the top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
