- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 package cream cheese (8 oz)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Mix in granulated sugar, brown sugar, milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl.
- Incorporate dry ingredients into wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and roll into a rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Spread melted butter over the surface, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Roll the dough from one of the longer edges to form a tight log.
- Slice the log into equal pieces, about 1 inch thick.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cut side up, and let them rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth for frosting.
- Spread the frosting over warm rolls before serving.
