Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan generously.
- Mash the overripe bananas until smooth.
- Mix in brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Stir in the egg until fully incorporated.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before cutting into squares.
