Scale
  • 2 overripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  4. Stir in the egg until fully incorporated.
  5. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.

  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

For best results, use overripe bananas for natural sweetness. You can also customize by adding nuts or using different types of chocolate.
