A refreshing Strawberry Margarita that perfectly balances the sweetness of strawberries with the zesty brightness of lime juice, perfect for any occasion.

- 4 cups strawberries (quartered)
- 1/3 cup sugar (to taste, optional)
- 1 1/2 cups freshly-squeezed lime juice (about 20 limes)
- 2 cups tequila (Blanco or añejo)
- 1/2 cup triple sec (Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
- 1/2 cup agave syrup (or honey; maple syrup)
- Margarita salt (for rimming)
- 1 cup strawberries (quartered) for garnish
- 3 limes (quartered)
- 4 cups ice
Instructions
- Blend the quartered strawberries with sugar (if using) until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl, if desired.
- Juice the limes to get 1 1/2 cups of lime juice.
- Mix the strawberry syrup, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, and agave syrup in a blender, adding ice to achieve the desired slushiness.
- Blend until smooth, adjusting the sweetness if needed.
- Rim the glasses with lime juice and dip into margarita salt.
- Pour the margarita mix into the prepared glasses and garnish with fresh strawberries and lime wedges.
Notes
Chill your glasses before serving for an added refreshment factor. You can store leftover margarita mix in the fridge for up to two days.
