Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine melted butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until glossy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  8. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Notes
