Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil: In a sturdy skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Allow it to shimmer before adding the next ingredients.
  2. Sauté onions and garlic: Toss in the diced onion and minced garlic, stirring until fragrant—around 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Cook the steak: Add the steak strips to the skillet, seasoning them generously with salt and pepper. Sear until they are browned on all sides, about 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Incorporate the shrimp and bell pepper: Next, introduce the shrimp and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, roughly 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Melt the cheese: Lower the heat to low and sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top. Cover the skillet to trap the heat until the cheese melts, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot: Garnish your skillet bowl with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
