Description

A decadent chocolate peanut butter pie featuring a crunchy Oreo crust, creamy chocolate and peanut butter layers, topped with fluffy whipped cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 25 Oreos (whole)
  • 5 TBSP unsalted butter (melted)
  • 6 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 2 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup sour cream (room temperature or Greek yogurt)
  • 3.5 oz chocolate bar (melted)
  • 10 oz cream cheese (room temperature) for peanut butter layer
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups heavy cream (cold)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a food processor, crush the Oreos into fine crumbs, or place them in a ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Mix the crumbs with the melted butter until well combined, then press into the bottom of your pie dish. Bake for 8-10 minutes, then allow to cool.
  2. Make the chocolate layer: In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, sour cream, and melted chocolate until smooth. Spread evenly over the cooled crust.
  3. Prepare the peanut butter layer: Mix room temperature cream cheese with peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in sour cream and vanilla extract, then pour over the chocolate layer.
  4. Make the whipped topping: Combine heavy cream and powdered sugar, then whip until stiff peaks form. Spread over the peanut butter layer.
  5. Drizzle with melted peanut butter for added flavor.
  6. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight.

Notes

Ensure all dairy ingredients are at room temperature for optimal mixing. Best when made a day in advance.
