- 1 cup Cottage Cheese
- 1 cup Marinara Sauce
- 1.5 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
- Italian herbs of your choice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the chicken by seasoning with salt and pepper, then cook in a skillet until golden and cooked through.
- Create the sauce by sautéing garlic and onions, then add marinara sauce and let it simmer.
- Combine the cottage cheese, half of the mozzarella, and Italian herbs in a mixing bowl.
- Build the bowl by layering cooked chicken, marinara sauce, and cottage cheese mixture in a baking dish.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and breadcrumbs, then drizzle with olive oil if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
