Description

A delightful twist on traditional egg salad featuring crispy patties filled with hard-boiled eggs, creamy cheese, and a hint of sriracha.


Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • ½ tablespoon sriracha
  • 2 teaspoons chives, chopped
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop the hard-boiled eggs into small pieces.
  2. Combine the chopped eggs with mozzarella cheese and chives in a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in the mayonnaise and sriracha gently.
  4. Season with kosher salt and cracked pepper to taste. Set aside.
  5. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Scoop a generous portion of the mixture and form it into a small patty.
  7. Place it on the frying pan and repeat with the remaining mixture.
  8. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  9. Transfer the crispy patties to a paper towel-lined plate.
  10. Serve on a fresh bed of greens or inside a toasted sandwich.

Notes

Ensure eggs are perfectly boiled to avoid a chalky texture. Preheat the pan to achieve a crispy exterior.
