Description

A delicious sandwich combining crispy fried chicken between two slices of fluffy French toast, topped with rich maple syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of thick-cut bread (brioche or challah)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup fried chicken tenders
  • Maple syrup
  • Butter for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, and pepper together in a shallow dish.
  2. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  4. Cook the bread in the skillet until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Layer a fried chicken tender on one slice of French toast, then top with the other slice to form a sandwich.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup.

Notes

Substitute almond or oat milk for a dairy-free option. Experiment with toppings like avocado or spicy mayonnaise.
