Description

Delightful cruffins blend the flaky texture of croissants with sweet fillings, offering a unique pastry experience.


Ingredients

  • Croissant Dough
  • Sugar (for sprinkling)
  • Fillings (chocolate, fruit jams, cream cheese, etc.)
  • Glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Cut the rolled dough into large triangles (roughly 6 inches at the base).
  4. Starting from the wide end, gently roll each triangle into a cylinder.
  5. Place the rolled dough into a well-greased muffin tin.
  6. Sprinkle sugar generously on top, and add your favorite fillings.
  7. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, then finish with a glaze if desired and serve warm.

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the dough the night before and chill. Use puff pastry as an alternative for different textures.
