- 2 cups chocolate chunks
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chunks.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, pressing down slightly to create a well in the center.
- Fill each well with a dollop of salted caramel sauce.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are firm and centers remain soft.
- Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, chill the dough if it’s too sticky. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.
