- 8 soft hot dog buns
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup diced red onions
- ½ cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
- Fresh cilantro leaves
Instructions
- Make the Firecracker Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and lime juice until smooth.
- Prep the Toppings: Dice your red onions, slice jalapeños, shred cheese, and chop cilantro.
- Heat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F.
- Grill the Hot Dogs: Place the hot dogs on the grill, cooking for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Toast the Buns: In the last 2 minutes, place your buns cut-side down on the grill.
- Assemble the Hot Dogs: Spread Firecracker Sauce in each toasted bun, add a grilled hot dog and top with cheese, onions, jalapeños, and cilantro.
- Serve Immediately: Enjoy these hot dogs right off the grill.
