Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Beat the eggs in a separate medium bowl, then stir in the milk, oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring gently until there are a few lumps.
- Grease the preheated waffle iron with cooking oil or melted butter.
- Pour the recommended amount of batter into your waffle iron and close the lid, cooking until golden brown.
- Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup or your favorite toppings.
Notes
Make the batter ahead of time and store it in the fridge. No waffle iron? Use a pancake griddle instead!
