Description

These delightful cupcakes combine the beloved flavors of cinnamon rolls with the charming texture of cakes, offering a rich, warm sweetness in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your cupcake pan with paper liners.
  2. Combine dry ingredients by whisking together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Incorporate the dry ingredients alternately with milk until just combined.
  6. Prepare the cinnamon filling by mixing melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
  7. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with batter, add cinnamon filling, then top with more batter.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool completely before frosting with cream cheese frosting.
